Job Summary:
Hays Specialist Recruitment Limited is seeking an experienced decorator to join our team as a Damp and Mould Specialist. As a key member of our social housing team, you will be responsible for carrying out decoration works in void and inhabited properties, ensuring all works are completed to a high standard and to the specification provided.
Key Responsibilities:
- Carry out decoration works in void and inhabited properties, adhering to safety protocols and ensuring high-quality finishes.
- Wash down and effectively treat mould in accordance with manufacturer guidelines and in-house training.
- Perform minor repairs and filling to walls, ceilings, and woodwork to enable decoration works to be completed.
- Meet deadlines and complete jobs within the allotted time frames.
- Utilize equipment and materials safely, adhering to Health and Safety requirements and company code of conduct.
- Record timesheets, material usage, and job progress accurately using a smartphone and tablet.
Requirements:
- Hold a City & Guilds in Painting and Decorating or NVQ Level 2 in Painting and Decorating.
- Be willing to work flexible hours and travel to various sites.
- Hold a valid driver's license, with a company van provided.

- Competitive salary of £30,000-£33,000 depending on experience (42.5 hours per week).
