About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Cath Lab Specialist + Rotational Radiographer to join our team at Nuffield Health St Bartholomew's Hospital. As a key member of our diagnostic imaging department, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality diagnostic imaging services for a varied caseload within the cardiac cath lab, as well as CT or MRI.

Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver high-quality diagnostic imaging services for a varied caseload within the cardiac cath lab, CT or MRI.
  • Be highly proficient in the use of all equipment within scope of practice.
  • Work with leading practitioners and cutting-edge practices, equipment and facilities.
  • Take an active part in supervising and developing junior colleagues.
  • Participate in departmental audits and Quality Assurance programme.
  • Provide support to the Clinical Lead Radiographers.
  • Ensure equipment is safe and fit for purpose and report faults in line with Nuffield Health policy.
  • Competency in IV cannulation is essential.
  • Provide input to the review, update and implementation of departmental policy and procedural changes.
  • Comply with all Nuffield Health policies and procedures.
  • Ensure all records are maintained in line with statutory and organisational requirements.
  • Participate in Cath lab, X-ray + CT on call rota (within scope of practice).
