Job Description

Are you a skilled.NET developer looking to take your career to the next level? As a Senior.NET Software Developer, you'll play a crucial role in shaping and developing innovative SaaS solutions for a leading organisation based on the Wirral, near to Chester. Reporting directly to the IT Director, this is your chance to enhance your skill set while contributing to meaningful projects.

About the Role

As a Senior.NET Software Developer, you'll be responsible for developing and supporting various ASP.NET MVC websites and C# applications. You'll collaborate with team members, participate in code reviews, and play a vital role in the software design and review process. Your work will directly impact the success of our SaaS platform and help drive continuous improvement and innovation.

Essential Requirements

  • 5+ years of.Net software development experience, primarily focused on ASP.NET MVC and C#.
  • Expertise in.NET, C#, JS, jQuery, CSS, and HTML.
  • Strong database skills, particularly with SQL Server, Entity Framework, and LINQ.
  • Experience with web services (REST, SOAP) and frameworks like ServiceStack.
  • Solid understanding of performance optimization and UI/UX design.
  • Familiarity with source control management tools like Azure DevOps and Git.

Desirable Skills

  • Experience with cloud-based platforms, particularly Microsoft Azure.
  • Exposure to continuous integration and deployment pipelines.
  • Background in financial services or compliance industries.
  • Knowledge of test-driven development and related methodologies.
