About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Mental Health Nurse Manager to join our team as a Deputy Hospital Director. This is a dynamic leadership role that requires a strong clinical background and excellent management skills.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead a multi-disciplinary team to ensure the smooth operation of hospital departments, including psychology, occupational therapy, and other clinical services.
  • Provide operational and clinical leadership to drive forward innovative care practices and improve patient outcomes.
  • Collaborate with external partners, commissioners, and stakeholders to develop and implement effective care strategies.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with patients, families, and carers to ensure a positive and supportive care environment.
Requirements
  • Qualified Senior Mental Health Nurse (RMN/RNLD) with at least 2 years of management experience.
  • Proven track record in leading teams and promoting high standards of care.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to inspire and engage staff at all levels.
  • Strong strategic thinking and problem-solving skills, with the ability to navigate complex clinical situations.
