Due to expansion, our client, a leading company in the industry, has an exciting opportunity for a Mechanical Project Engineer to join their team at ZipRecruiter.

Within the role, the engineer will be required to support with technical inquiries, investigate product claims, testing of products for customers or other subsidiaries, creation of various technical documentation, identify, develop and deliver training, research within the market including trends and competitor activities, and providing support for new products in the European market.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Support the development of new products and technologies.
  2. Investigate and resolve technical issues and product claims.
  3. Conduct testing and quality assurance of products.
  4. Develop and maintain technical documentation and reports.
  5. Provide training and support to colleagues and customers.
  6. Conduct market research and analysis.
Requirements:
  1. Mechanical Engineering degree 2:1 or higher.
  2. Ability to plan and manage own projects.
  3. Experience of writing technical reports and engineering documentation.
  4. Passport and Driving licenses required, as there will be some UK and European travel in the role.
  5. Understanding of MS office applications: Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
Desirable Skills:
  1. Experience in design of machined parts.
  2. CAD, Solidworks basic knowledge.
  3. Basic Electrical Engineering knowledge.
