Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Class 2 HGV driver to join our team at Staffing Match - London Transport Careers. As a Class 2 HGV driver, you will be responsible for delivering goods to customers' homes or flats, working with an experienced driver's mate or driver.
Key Responsibilities:
- Drive a 7.5t vehicle and unload goods at customer locations.
- Deliver goods to room of choice and complete paperwork.
- Work as part of a 2-man crew to ensure efficient and safe delivery of goods.
- Have excellent customer service and communication skills.
- Be able to work long days as required.
Requirements:
- Hold a valid Class 2 HGV licence.
- Have a CPC and Digi card.
- Have no more than 6 penalty points or disqualifications.
- Be willing to undergo a DBS and drug and alcohol test.
Benefits:
- Competitive hourly rate of £17.81.
- Additional pay for overtime at £21.75 per hour.
- Permanent salary of circa £33,000 per annum.
- Quarterly bonus and benefits package.
- 30 days annual leave.
