Position Overview
We are seeking a dedicated Site Engineer for a permanent role within our Civils division. This position is essential for providing engineering expertise to our Section Engineer and Site Management team in the Glasgow area.

About the Role:
The ideal candidate will possess substantial experience as a Site Engineer, particularly in Setting-Out and Surveying. A background in civil engineering with a main contractor is essential. Strong communication skills are vital as collaboration is key in our working environment.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct Surveying and Setting Out tasks.
- Review drawings and quantities for accuracy.
- Coordinate material scheduling with the procurement team.
- Organize site operations to adhere to project timelines.
- Engage with consultants and subcontractors as required.
- Oversee site labor and subcontractor performance.
- Ensure compliance with Health, Safety, and Environmental standards.
- Maintain quality records to meet project specifications.
- Address unexpected technical challenges and issues.
- Facilitate material testing and instrument calibration.
- Document site activities in a Site Diary.
- Collaborate effectively with the construction site team.
- Communicate with other departmental managers.
- Implement improvements and innovations within your responsibilities.
- Perform additional duties as directed by the Site Manager.
