Job Summary:
LWC Drinks is seeking a skilled Class 2 Driver to join our team in a warehouse and distribution role. As a key member of our logistics team, you will be responsible for delivering products to customers in a safe and efficient manner.
Main Responsibilities:
- Prepare vehicles for delivery by conducting operator maintenance and ensuring all products are loaded correctly and safely.
- Complete delivery notes, return sheets, and collect payments from customers.
- Execute special requests from customers by picking up and delivering items as directed on the delivery note.
- Maintain customer confidence by keeping information strictly confidential regarding premise security and operational information.
- Check run sheets, picked orders, and routing to ensure accurate delivery.
- Plan routes and requirements for deliveries by studying schedules and customer requests.
- Make customers aware of stock shortages or problems with their delivery.
- Return empty cases and gas bottles to the empties yard and unload them correctly.
- Ensure adherence to health and safety procedures.
- Complete required checks and pass check sheets to the distribution manager.
- Assist in the warehouse when required.
- Present a professional image in the LWC Drinks uniform at all times.
Requirements:
- Good safety practices and driving habits.
- Hold the correct driving license required for the vehicle.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
