Position Overview

An opportunity has emerged for a Senior Accountant within the firm, responsible for client management, reviewing the work of junior team members, and ensuring the effective delivery of tailored solutions.

Key Responsibilities

  • Engaging closely with SME clients, including family-owned and entrepreneurial businesses.
  • Reviewing VAT, bookkeeping, and quarterly management accounts prepared by the accounting team.
  • Preparing monthly management accounts for expanding SME clients.
  • Compiling year-end accounts and tax computations.
  • Utilizing Xero and other online accounting software regularly.

Candidate Profile

The ideal candidate will possess the following qualifications:

  • AAT Qualified or ACCA Part-Qualified / ACCA / ACA Qualified.
  • Experience in Accountancy Practice (approximately 3 - 5 years).
  • Proficiency in preparing year-end accounts and tax computations.
  • Experience working with SME and owner-managed enterprises.
  • Strong knowledge of Xero and possibly other online/cloud accounting tools.
