Trinity Claims is a leading claims management company based in Tonbridge, dedicated to delivering exceptional claims strategies to our partners. We are seeking a highly skilled Surveyor - Buildings Claims to join our team.
Job Summary:We are looking for a talented Surveyor - Buildings Claims to assist our Policyholders with building-related queries, progress claims efficiently, and provide technical support to our Claims Team. The ideal candidate will have at least 2 years of experience in the Home Claims Industry, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work well under pressure.
Key Responsibilities:- Review non-delegated Surveyor reports and deliver claims decisions to Policyholders.
- Review Policyholder Scope disputes and determine if valid, making necessary adjustments and delivering decisions to Policyholders.
- Review decline disputes to ensure correct decisions are made in line with policy terms and deliver outcomes to Policyholders.
- Validate contractors' scope estimates in line with estimating software and policy conditions.
- Progress and update Buildings Insurance claims, including updating reserves, cash settlement payments, contractor instructions, and closing claims as required.
- Provide technical support to the Claims Team in respect of buildings damage.
- Liaise with Policyholders and suppliers via the portal and phone.
- Assist with audit and oversight of our Surveyor Network and Contractors with Regional Technical Surveyor and Supply Chain Manager assistance.
- Undertake individual or team tasks reasonably requested and in line with company values.
- Ensure claims are progressed in a timely manner and moved to completion as quickly as possible.
- At least 2 years of experience within the Home Claims Industry.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Good organisational skills.
- Accuracy and attention to detail.
- Tact and assertiveness when dealing with Supplier/Surveyor Network.
- Ability to work well under pressure and meet deadlines.
- PC literate with good administrative skills.
- Ability to take on increased ownership and responsibility when necessary.
- Basic Salary £30-35,000 (DOE) as well as market-leading benefits.
