Manufacturing Engineer Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Manufacturing Engineer to join our team on a permanent basis in the Hook area. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in mechanical engineering and experience working in a similar environment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Verify manufacturing processes to ensure quality and performance targets are met
  • Collaborate with Quality Engineers to develop and implement quality control systems
  • Develop operating instructions and troubleshooting guides for processes and equipment
  • Provide training and guidance to colleagues on existing and new equipment
  • Create production work and test instructions
  • Monitor manufacturing processes and identify opportunities for improvement
  • Participate in process improvement teams to resolve issues
  • Attend training and engage in Continuous Professional Development
Requirements:
  • Degree qualified in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent work-based experience
  • Experience working as a Manufacturing Engineer in product development
  • Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings
  • Experience in Lean Manufacturing
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills
