Job Overview:

Roc Search is seeking a talented Civil Engineer to join our client's Rail & Civils team based in Glasgow. As a Graduate Civil Engineer, you will have the opportunity to work on high-profile projects that shape the UK's infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare feasibility studies, technical notes, and drawings to support project development.
  • Conduct structural analysis of bridges and civil structures using LUSAS software.
  • Utilize AutoCAD for technical drawings and prepare diagrams and reports using Microsoft programs.
  • Oversee specialist sub-consultants and conduct site inspections to ensure project quality.
  • Attend meetings and site visits with senior staff to discuss project progress and challenges.
  • Assist in preparing fee proposals and bids for new projects to secure business growth.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Civil Engineering with at least 2 years of post-graduate experience.
  • Experience in bridge design and structural analysis.
  • Proficiency in Excel, Word, and Publisher.
  • Knowledge of LUSAS software is an advantage.
