Clinical Nurse Specialist: Paediatric Spinal Surgery Expert

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Clinical Nurse Specialist to join our team at HCA Healthcare UK. As a Clinical Nurse Specialist in Paediatric Spinal Surgery, you will be responsible for providing expert care and guidance to patients and families affected by spinal conditions.
Key Responsibilities- Lead and manage the care of patients with spinal conditions, working closely with the multidisciplinary team to ensure the best possible outcomes.
- Develop and implement evidence-based clinical pathways and guidelines for the management of spinal conditions.
- Provide education and training to nursing staff on the care of patients with spinal conditions.
- Contribute to the development of new knowledge and clinical skills in the field of paediatric spinal care.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless care and communication.
- Children's Nursing Qualification (RN Child or RSCN) with valid NMC registration.
- 5 years post-registration experience in Children's nursing.
- Relevant qualification in specialist area with at least 12 months experience.
- Mentorship qualification.
- Basic/Intermediate Paediatric Life Support.
- Experience of audit and research relevant to specialism.
- Knowledge of safeguarding processes, with up to date level 3 Safeguarding qualification.
- Knowledge of clinical governance and managing risk.
