Cavendish Nuclear is seeking a highly skilled Environmental Lead to join our team. As a key member of our organization, you will play a critical role in developing and implementing environmental solutions that meet the needs of our clients.

The successful candidate will have a strong background in radioactive waste management and environmental solutions, with experience in leading teams and developing innovative solutions. You will be responsible for providing leadership and direction to the Radioactive Waste Management and Environmental Capability, and will work closely with our clients to understand their needs and develop tailored solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Develop and implement environmental solutions that meet the needs of our clients
  2. Lead teams to develop innovative solutions and recommendations for improvement
  3. Provide leadership and direction to the Radioactive Waste Management and Environmental Capability
  4. Develop and maintain excellent collaborative client relationships
  5. Take an active role in appropriate professional networks on behalf of Cavendish Nuclear
  6. Lead the development and implementation of capability strategies and plans
  7. Be responsible for the career development of waste and environmental specialists
  8. Manage resource supply to meet near-term and strategic demand

Requirements:

  1. Demonstrable experience in the nuclear sector, with significant radioactive waste management experience proven over several years
  2. Proven experience in supporting projects throughout the service lifecycle
  3. Experience of building and line managing technical teams
  4. Excellent knowledge of an established network within the radioactive waste sector

Qualifications:

  1. Degree (or similar / equivalent qualification) in relevant technical (engineering or science) discipline

Security Clearance: The successful candidate must be able to achieve and maintain Security Check (SC) security clearance for this role.
