Job Title: Sales and Engineering Support Specialist

Network Communication Systems Ltd is seeking a highly skilled Sales and Engineering Support Specialist to join our team. As a Sales and Engineering Support Specialist, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service and technical support to our clients.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide technical assistance and training to customers and internal teams
  • Resolve system faults and undertake small work installations
  • Liaise with customers to understand their needs and provide solutions
  • Assist with installation-related activities such as site visits, commissioning, and surveying
  • Undertake project planning and management from inception to completion
  • Prepare and submit Risk Assessments/Method Statements and Safe Systems of Work
Requirements:
  • 1st class man management and technical experience in the sector
  • CRB check or similar check required
  • Computer literate and skilled in the use of Microsoft Office, including MS Project and MS Visio
  • Electrical/electronic qualification equivalent to or above an NVQ level 3 or similar
  • Basic knowledge of IP Networks and how to configure them
  • Full UK driving license
  • Problem-solving and analytical skills
  • Customer focus and effective teamwork skills
  • Effective time management and planning skills
  • Flexibility in working hours
Desirable:
  • Pass at ONC level, equivalent NVQ Level 3, or demonstrable alternative in a technical discipline
  • Comprehensive and in-depth technical understanding of Electrical and Electronic systems/principles
  • Ability to demonstrate a good working knowledge of networks and IP-based systems and how to fault find them
  • IEEE 18th Edition Certificate
  • IEEE Inspection and Test certificate
