We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Critical Care Nurse to join our team at the NHS. As a critical care nurse, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
Main Responsibilities- Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate care to meet the needs of critically ill patients and their families.
- Plan and deliver appropriate care for admissions and discharges, ensuring seamless transitions and continuity of care.
- Undertake extended roles such as venipuncture, cannulation, and phlebotomy, as required.
- Contribute to ongoing research-based care and practice development initiatives, staying up-to-date with the latest evidence-based practices.
- Work collaboratively with junior staff, delegating and supervising care in a fair and equitable manner.
- Recognize signs and symptoms of a deteriorating patient and initiate early interventions in a calm and coordinated manner.
- Excellent communication skills with good time management and prioritization skills.
- Registered General Nurse with NMC pin and relevant experience in critical care.
- Neuro, Cardiac, or General ITU specific skills and experience are highly desirable.
