About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Cleaning and Maintenance Specialist. As a key member of our facilities team, you will be responsible for ensuring the cleanliness and maintenance of our school premises.

Key Responsibilities

  • Clean and disinfect all work surfaces, floors, and paintwork in designated areas
  • Dust, vacuum, and mop general flooring throughout the site
  • Carry out planned and ad-hoc cleaning duties within the building and to equipment located throughout the school
  • Ensure that facilities and services operate in compliance with Health and Safety legislation and procedures
  • Report all accidents and incidents as appropriate

About You

  • General experience of cleaning and maintenance
  • Able to exercise initiative and prioritize duties accordingly
  • Knowledge of Health & Safety best practices
  • Awareness of COSHH regulations
  • Takes initiative and works reliably
