Job Summary
The Scientific Sales Professional will be responsible for developing and executing sales strategies to drive business growth and revenue. This will involve building and maintaining relationships with existing customers, identifying new business opportunities, and providing technical support and training to customers.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and Execute Sales Strategies
- Develop and execute sales strategies to drive business growth and revenue
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities
- Build and Maintain Customer Relationships
- Build and maintain strong relationships with existing customers
- Provide technical support and training to customers
- Network and Attend Industry Events
- Network with key industry contacts and attend industry events
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and developments
- Accurate Forecasting
- Accurately forecast sales pipeline to management
Requirements
- Proven Sales Experience
- Proven field sales experience
- Background selling lab/scientific instrumentation
- Technical Aptitude
- Strong technical aptitude with the ability to understand and explain complex scientific concepts
- Education
- Degree in a scientific or engineering discipline (Master's or higher)
- Travel
- Able to travel internationally to meet with clients and attend industry events (likely to be 2-3 trips per quarter)
