Position Overview:
As a Ticket Barrier Operative, you will be an integral part of a dedicated team at the station. You will serve as the initial and final point of contact for our passengers in a bustling environment. This role includes the responsibility of collecting fares from travelers without tickets. While the position can present challenges, it is also highly rewarding.
Your Key Responsibilities:
- Providing exceptional service to all customers
- Assisting with the daily operations of the automated ticket barriers
- Ensuring passenger safety and addressing inquiries
- Inspecting and distributing tickets
- Responding to customer needs during service interruptions
- Maintaining the cleanliness and professional appearance of the gateline area
- Facilitating ticket sales through a mobile ticketing system and managing related financial processes
