Job Title: Registered Mental Nurse

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Registered Mental Nurse to join our team at Hourglass. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care to our patients.

Job Summary:

The successful candidate will have a strong background in mental health nursing and a passion for delivering patient-centered care. You will work closely with our multidisciplinary team to assess, plan, and implement individualized care plans that promote recovery and well-being.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assess and evaluate patients' mental health needs and develop comprehensive care plans
  • Provide high-quality nursing care to patients with a range of mental health conditions
  • Work collaboratively with other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless care delivery
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of policies and procedures that promote best practice in mental health care
  • Participate in ongoing education and training to maintain expertise and stay up-to-date with industry developments
Requirements:
  • Registered Mental Nurse qualification and current registration with the NMC
  • Proven experience in mental health nursing, preferably in a similar setting
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with patients, families, and colleagues
  • Ability to work autonomously and as part of a team, with a flexible approach to work
  • Knowledge of current mental health legislation, policies, and guidelines
