Financial Management Accountant Opportunity

We are seeking an experienced Management Accountant to join our client's team in Henley-on-Thames, following a period of growth and transformation within the business. In this key role, you will work closely with the CFO, providing essential support to ensure the smooth and efficient operation of the finance functions across the organization.

Key Responsibilities
  • Preparation of monthly management accounts
  • Bookkeeping and managing payroll providers
  • Monthly balance sheet reconciliations
  • Primary responsibility for all company bankings
  • Preparation of journals to ensure costs are recognized in the correct accounting period
  • Responsible for Fixed Asset register and Depreciation
  • Support in the development and production of forecasts, budgets, and financial plans
  • Preparing income statements, balance sheets, and other financial documents
  • Analytical review of the company's financial performance based on financial records
  • Preparation of year-end schedules
  • Monthly/quarterly/annual sales commissions calculations
  • Evaluating and monitoring financial information systems and recommending improvements where needed
Requirements
  • Fully or part-qualified Accountant
  • Experience within a similar position
  • Strong understanding of financial language
  • Intermediate to advanced knowledge of Excel
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Highly organized with a keen eye for detail and accuracy
  • Experience with Xero would be beneficial
