Job Title: HGV Mechanic

Road Safety Contracts is a family-owned company with over 40 years of experience in the industry. We are expanding our internal maintenance facility and seeking a skilled HGV mechanic to join our team.

Job Role:
  • Conduct comprehensive maintenance and repairs on a diverse range of machinery and equipment.
  • Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical issues in the equipment.
  • Uphold the highest standards of safety and maintenance in all tasks and operations.
  • Collaborate with the team to contribute to the overall success and efficiency of our company.
  • Maintain accurate and detailed records of all maintenance activities, repairs, and service history.
Requirements:
  • Fully qualified to City & Guilds level 3, BTEC, or NVQ in Heavy Vehicle Mechanics, Maintenance & Repair, or equivalent.
  • Previous experience in the repair of HGV plant and equipment.
  • Practical knowledge of modern diagnostic equipment/techniques.
  • Computer literate.
  • Full, valid driving license (HGV license preferable but not essential).
