About the Role

This is an exciting opportunity to work with a dedicated team of professionals who are passionate about providing inclusive education to learners with a range of difficulties and disabilities.

As a Learner Support Practitioner, you will play a vital role in assisting learners to become confident and independent individuals by providing personalized support and accommodations in the classroom.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Providing in-class support to learners by communicating with them on their level and breaking down tasks to ensure understanding.
  • Notetaking and scribing as needed, as well as reading and personal care of learners.
  • Supporting learners during lunch, breaks, and transitions throughout the day.
  • Traveling to support learners offsite and participating in practical lessons such as animal care and carpentry.

To be successful in this role, you will need to have a GCSE Grade C or equivalent in English and Maths, as well as the ability to evidence proficiency in the use of ICT.

We are looking for a motivated and compassionate individual who is committed to providing high-quality support to learners with diverse needs.
