Are you a self-employed van driver looking for a new venture? We have an exciting opportunity for a van delivery driver to join our team as a self-employed owner driver with Parcelforce as a customer.

As a self-employed van driver, you will have the freedom to run your own business while still benefiting from the support and resources of a large and established company.

Key benefits of this role include:

  • Competitive revenue potential: £45,000 - £70,000 per annum (depending on deliveries, collections and postcodes covered)
  • 6-day week, Monday to Saturday
  • Access to state-of-the-art PDA technology to support route planning and delivery tracking

  • Backing from a leading national express carrier business

To be considered for this role, you will need to have:

  • Your own or hired long wheel-based van, fitted with reversing camera or sensor
  • Personal vehicle insurance which must cover the carriage of goods for hire and reward, and emergency breakdown cover
  • A full UK driving license with no more than 6 penalty points
  • Valid business insurances, including: £5 million Public Liability, £5 million Employers Liability, and £25,000 Goods in Transit
  • A smart appearance and full PPE always including steel toecap boots
  • Good level of fitness to meet the demands of multi-drop delivery with parcels weighing at least 30kg
  • Ability to pass a basic CRB check and Right to Work checks
