Lead Care Support Specialist

Available Hours:

Permanent - Part Time - 22 hours per week.

About the Role

As a Lead Care Support Specialist at Methodist Homes, you will guide and motivate a dedicated team of care professionals to deliver exceptional support to our residents, ensuring they enjoy a fulfilling later life. Your responsibilities will encompass assisting residents with their personal care requirements and facilitating their participation in various activities that promote their health and well-being. Additionally, you will oversee medication administration and ensure meticulous record-keeping. Each day will present unique challenges, allowing you to leverage your leadership and interpersonal skills to make a significant impact.

About You

We are looking for a Lead Care Support Specialist who is deeply committed to the welfare of older individuals, possesses prior experience in care, and holds at least an NVQ level 2 or equivalent in health and social care, with a willingness to pursue level 3. Your background should include experience in leading, coaching, and inspiring a team to provide high-quality care.

Your compassionate, warm demeanor will enable you to collaborate effectively within a team while also demonstrating initiative. Essential qualities include patience, strong communication, and active listening skills.

Proficiency in maintaining accurate records, managing time efficiently, and prioritizing tasks will be crucial to your success. If you have the ability to set a positive example, build strong relationships, and energize your colleagues to deliver outstanding care, we would be eager to learn more about you.
