Child Practitioner

The Young Person's Advisory Service is seeking a skilled Child Practitioner to join their dynamic Wellbeing Team. This role will involve developing evidence-based parenting interventions to support parents through group programmes and one-to-one coaching.
Key Responsibilities- Deliver group programmes and one-to-one coaching to parents, helping them build resilience and promote positive life choices.
- Work alongside the Wellbeing Team and Therapy Teams to provide a multi-disciplinary approach to supporting parents and children.
- Collaborate with colleagues to develop and implement effective parenting interventions.
Qualified member of a mental health profession, Accredited Therapist, Social Worker, or Occupational Therapist with two years of post-qualification experience working with parents or children and young people.
Applicants without a recognised core profession will be considered for eligibility via the Knowledge, Skills, and Attitudes (KSA) framework developed by the BABCP.
