About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Construction Lawyer to join our Non-Contentious Construction team at RWK Goodman. As a key member of our team, you will play a crucial role in developing and growing our construction practice, while maintaining a high level of client service and supporting the Head of Construction and the wider Real Estate team in achieving our business objectives.

Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver high-quality work on your own files, delegating tasks effectively and ensuring matters are profitable, while taking responsibility for supervising more junior fee earners in file management and time recording.
  • Act as the senior lawyer on complex matters, demonstrating expertise in your discipline/sector.
  • Build strong relationships with clients and referrers by exceeding their service expectations and supporting partners in managing and developing key clients.
  • Manage a client review process and implement changes based on feedback.
  • Expand your area of business by broadening your expertise into new client sectors/markets or increasing market share.
  • Lead on generating thought leadership on changes in the law, market trends, or other relevant material to attract new opportunities.
  • Manage and supervise work in the team to achieve all financial and non-financial KPIs, using management information to understand your own and team performance.

Requirements

  • 8+ years of PQE experience working for a leading national or regional firm.
  • Experience in all aspects of non-contentious construction matters.
  • Ability to grow the team and a business development mindset.
