Job Summary

We are seeking a highly experienced and strategic Global Director of Human Resources to join our team. As a key member of the executive leadership team, you will be responsible for developing and executing global HR strategies that align with the company's vision and business objectives.

Key Responsibilities

  • Strategic HR Leadership
    • Develop and implement global HR strategies that support the company's business objectives.
    • Serve as a strategic business partner to the executive leadership team, providing insights, recommendations, and guidance on HR matters.
    • Collaborate with senior management to drive organizational change and transformation initiatives.
  • Compensation and Benefits
    • Design and oversee competitive compensation and benefits programs to attract and retain employees.
    • Ensure compliance with local labor laws and regulations.
    • Conduct benchmark analysis to ensure competitiveness.
  • Talent Management
    • Manage a globally dispersed workforce, including harmonization of HR strategy and processes.
    • Develop and implement recruitment, development, performance appraisals, and retention strategies across all regions.
  • Employee Relations and Engagement
    • Promote a positive work environment and build a strong culture that aligns with company values.
    • Implement initiatives to enhance employee engagement, satisfaction, and retention.
    • Address and resolve employee concerns, investigations, and disciplinary actions.
  • Compliance & Risk
    • Ensure HR policies, practices, and handbooks comply with all applicable laws and regulations in each region.
    • Ensure adherence to legal and regulatory reporting requirements.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in business with HR Certification desired (GPHR, SPHR).
  • A minimum of 10 years progressive generalist HR experience, with at least 7 years in a senior leadership role.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and people skills.
  • Strong analytical and critical thinking skills to address and resolve HR challenges effectively.
  • Experience in managing and facilitating organizational change initiatives.
  • HRIS background - from implementation and maintenance, to creating BI reports.
  • Familiarity with international labor laws and regulations.
  • Experience working with private equity firm(s) and due diligence requirements pre-sale along with experience working through acquisitions and integrating acquired employees post-sale.
  • Proven record of developing and implementing successful HR strategies in a global organization.
  • Experience across various HR functions, including talent acquisition, employee relations, performance management, compensation and benefits, training and development, and HR compliance.
  • Strong business acumen and understanding of how HR contributes to overall business performance.
  • Strong interpersonal skills to build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including executive leadership team, employees at all levels organization-wide, and external partners.
  • This role requires high ethical standards and integrity in handling confidential and sensitive information.
  • Hybrid work arrangement available.
  • Occasional travel, both domestic and international.
