Empowered Personnel Ltd is currently on the lookout for an Accounts Administrator to support our client, a firm dedicated to the fast-moving consumer goods sector located in Coventry.
Role Overview:
In the capacity of Accounts Administrator, you will oversee the financial accounts of the organization, ensuring the precise processing of invoices, timely payments, and thorough upkeep of financial documentation.
Proficiency in Sage software is a prerequisite for this position.Primary Responsibilities:
1. Organize and manage customer invoices, ensuring timely payments and escalation of overdue accounts to Credit Control.
2. Maintain accurate supplier documentation and input invoices into accounting systems such as Sage and Navision.
3. Address invoice inquiries swiftly, resolving issues or directing them to the appropriate department.
4. Assist in scheduling payments and preparing creditor reports for review by the Finance Manager.
5. Create and maintain customer/supplier accounts with precise data entry.
6. Systematically organize and file all invoices and paperwork for easy retrieval.
7. Aid in sending missing order invoices to customers and facilitating payment requests.
8. Collaborate with sales and warehouse teams to generate credit memos when necessary.
9. Provide support to Finance Manager/Directors with additional tasks as required.
Ideal Candidate Profile:
To be considered for this role, candidates should possess:
1. Prior experience as an Accounts Administrator or Accounts Assistant.
2. Proficiency in Sage and ideally Navision accounting software.
3. Strong attention to detail and excellent organizational skills.
4. Exceptional time management capabilities.
5. Initiative to work independently as well as collaboratively within a small team.
6. A positive and adaptable attitude, especially under pressure.
7. Effective problem-solving skills to address underlying issues.
8. Outstanding administrative skills.
