Project Coordinator

As a Project Coordinator at The Weetabix Food Company, you will play a key role in overseeing various projects from conception to fruition. You will work closely with our Capital Projects Manager to strategize and implement capital investments.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Thoroughly review project objectives and establish the complete scope of work, ensuring compliance with all necessary specifications for tender submission.
  • Facilitate a fair tender process for the project proposal, taking ownership of the terms and conditions and skillfully navigating contract negotiations.
  • Work closely with cross-functional teams to coordinate budget and timeline, ensuring seamless project implementation.
  • Proficiently manage project risks, including schedule conflict resolution and proactive mitigation.
  • Assess and approve RAMS, and conduct the essential training for onsite work management, including issuing work permits and overseeing high-risk activities to meet legal requirements and company policies.
  • Efficiently conclude the project, summarizing post-completion benefits and accomplishments, obtaining necessary approvals to adhere to UK legislation.

Requirements:

  • Hold a recognized Engineering qualification (NVQ Level 3 or an equivalent).
  • Ability to demonstrate how you keep up to date in your field of expertise.
  • Hold a recognized Project Management qualification.
  • Experience of working in Engineering, FMCG, or Construction.
