**The Role - Maintenance Engineer**
We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Engineer to join our team in Grantham. This is a customer-facing role that requires strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively at heights.
**Key Responsibilities:**
- Breakdown and planned preventative maintenance on a variety of automated machinery, to include cranes; conveyors; vertical lifts; monorail system and a deep freeze high bay.
- Working in a cold environment (-18 degrees)
- To undertake scheduled repairs in accordance with the manufacturers recommendations and industry standard practices.
- Prioritise system faults.
- To ensure quality of output at all times.
- To accurately record all work undertaken.
- Involvement in continuous improvement projects.
- Comply with Health & Safety legislation at all times.
**Requirements:**
- An apprentice-trained Electrical or Mechanical Engineer or equivalent qualification.
- Experience of working with automated machinery is ideal, however it is not essential as training will be provided.
- Happy to work at heights.
- This is a customer-facing role, so you must be able to communicate effectively at all levels.
- Experience of working with a CMMS system.
