Job Title: Children's Complex Needs School Nurse

Evelina London is a leading provider of children's health services in Lambeth and Southwark, and across South-East England. We are seeking an experienced and enthusiastic Children's Nurse to join our team as a Children's Complex Needs School Nurse.

Job Summary:

We are looking for a skilled and dedicated Children's Nurse to provide high-quality care and support to children and young people with complex needs in the community. The successful candidate will work as an autonomous practitioner, providing specialist nursing care, education, and training to children and young people in the home, school, nursery, and community setting.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Provide high-quality specialist nursing care, education, and training to children and young people with complex needs in the community.
  • Work as an autonomous practitioner, providing care and support to children and young people in the home, school, nursery, and community setting.
  • Develop and implement individualized care plans to meet the unique needs of each child or young person.
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals, educators, and carers to ensure seamless care and support.
  • Provide clinical supervision to other staff, students, and may undertake research, lead clinical audits in own specialist area.
Person Specification:
  • RN Child Registered Nurse on the NMC register. To hold the appropriate level for the area of speciality.
  • Evidence of professional/clinical knowledge in area supplemented by specialist clinical, managerial training and CPD.
  • BSC/1st degree (health related) or equivalent qualification/training and experience.
  • Mentorship course.
