Job Description

As a Customer Field Engineer at CityFibre Limited, you will play a crucial role in delivering legendary service to our customers by completing fibre installations, resolving issues, and providing exceptional customer support.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist with 'on the day' issues that may prevent successful completion of first-time installations
  • Complete complex or non-standard fibre installations from site survey through to successful conclusion for both residential and business customers
  • Resolve service incidents/escalations to a successful outcome in a professional and timely manner
  • Participate in an on-call rota to provide industry-leading emergency response for network or customer issues
Requirements

We are looking for experienced Engineers who have extensive knowledge of fibre and a commitment to continuous improvement. In addition to having a valid UK driving license with no more than 6 penalty points, you must have the following qualifications:

  • NRSWA O1
  • Openreach PIA S007 Sub-Duct and Cable Installation
  • SA001 Overhead Safety and SA002 Underground Safety or SA006 Safe Working in Civils

The following qualifications are desirable:

  • NRSWA LA
  • SA020 MDU Installations and SA022 Track and Locate underground Services
  • Health and Safety; EFAC, EUSR, Abrasive, IPAF, and TETRA
What We Offer

CityFibre Limited offers a competitive salary of £29,000 - £36,000 depending on experience, 25 days' holiday, a day off on your birthday, a day off to support a charity or organisation of your choice, a performance-related bonus scheme, and private healthcare.

Training and Development

We provide comprehensive training and support to help you succeed in your role, including a two-week induction in Milton Keynes.
