Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Learning Mentor to join our Additional Educational Needs (AEN) Department at United Learning. The successful candidate will play a key role in supporting students with special educational needs, working closely with teachers and other support staff to ensure that all students receive the best possible education.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver targeted support within the classroom to students with special educational needs
  • Assist with general duties for provision for inclusion as required
  • Work with students, staff, families, and the wider community to promote respect, achievement, and happiness
  • Develop and implement strategies to support students with special educational needs, including those with SEND conditions
  • Collaborate with teachers and other support staff to ensure that all students receive the best possible education

Requirements:

  • Experience of working with students with special educational needs
  • Ability to analyse students' learning needs and develop strategies to support them
  • High expectations of student achievement and ability to motivate and inspire students
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work in a team and be flexible
