Job Title: Learning Mentor
Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Learning Mentor to join our Additional Educational Needs (AEN) Department at United Learning. The successful candidate will play a key role in supporting students with special educational needs, working closely with teachers and other support staff to ensure that all students receive the best possible education.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver targeted support within the classroom to students with special educational needs
- Assist with general duties for provision for inclusion as required
- Work with students, staff, families, and the wider community to promote respect, achievement, and happiness
- Develop and implement strategies to support students with special educational needs, including those with SEND conditions
- Collaborate with teachers and other support staff to ensure that all students receive the best possible education
Requirements:
- Experience of working with students with special educational needs
- Ability to analyse students' learning needs and develop strategies to support them
- High expectations of student achievement and ability to motivate and inspire students
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work in a team and be flexible
