We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Estimator to join our dynamic team at BAM Nuttall. As a key member of our business development team, you will be involved in a variety of challenging projects that will enhance your problem-solving abilities and contribute to your professional growth. This role offers a balance of teamwork and independent work, providing you with the freedom to manage your time effectively.

Job Details

Location – This position can be based in any of our offices, with occasional travel required for client meetings. We offer flexible working arrangements, including hybrid and home options.

Responsibilities

As a Senior Estimator, your duties will include:

  • Leading business development opportunities from initial enquiry to handover
  • Collaborating with internal teams to develop business proposals
  • Participating in Early Contractor Involvement stages
  • Estimating project costs and preparing business submissions
  • Presenting geotechnical solutions to clients
Requirements
  • Minimum 5 years experience in ground engineering
  • Strong knowledge of geotechnical principles
  • Prior experience in estimating ground engineering packages
  • Ability to work independently and meet deadlines
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Experience in estimating from first principles
