Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Inventory Technical Engineer to join our team at CV Library.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Maintenance and Replacement of Energy Systems
  • Provide maintenance and replacement of communal energy systems, including credit/prepay meters and sub-meters, data loggers, wiring, broadband, and BMS systems.
Project Management
  • Work with clients to manage projects from installation, testing, and commissioning systems and ensure remote meter reading capability.
System Fault Resolution
  • React to system faults to ensure system downtime is minimized.
Systems Strategy and Development
  • Advise clients on projects covering systems strategy, performance, and development from installation, commissioning, sign-off/approval.
Asset Inventory Management
  • Responsible for the asset inventory for systems at different locations.

Requirements

  1. Metering and Data Loggers
  • Demonstrable experience of metering, data loggers, wired and wireless systems, BMS controls.
Installation and Maintenance
  • Installation, commissioning and repair/maintenance experience of gas, communal energy - heat and hot water, electricity and water meters, ultrasonic, MBUS and LORAWAN systems.
System Architecture and Protocols
  • Knowledge and understanding of metering system and BMS architecture, protocols, telemetry, and automation systems and assets.
IT and Data Accuracy
  • Excellent IT and data accuracy skills.
Driving Licence
  • Current Full UK driving licence required.
Equipment Experience
  • Experience of a range of branded equipment including Elvaco, IZAR, Evinox, MBUS, Sharky, AMR systems, Diehl, Kamstrup, Itron and Siemens.
