Job Opportunity: General Practitioner or GP Partner

Main Responsibilities
  • Deliver high-quality, patient-centered care for a wide range of health conditions, including routine health check-ups, screenings, and preventive care.
  • Collaborate with the practice team and other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless care delivery.
  • Maintain accurate and comprehensive patient records, adhering to GMC standards for good medical practice.
  • Contribute to practice policies, participate in audits, and attend clinical meetings to drive continuous improvement.
  • Develop and promote continuous professional development, staying up-to-date with the latest medical advancements and best practices.
About Our Practice

Our practice is a strong and supportive partnership working with a dedicated team, including salaried GPs, pharmacists, physician associates, nurses, and administrative staff.

  • We foster a culture of collaboration, with daily team lunch meetups and a low home visiting requirement.
  • We are a well-established medical student teaching and GP training practice, offering opportunities for involvement and professional growth.
  • We utilize the Systm1 clinical system and are actively engaged with the NW North Tyneside Primary Care Network, participating in local healthcare initiatives.
  • We maintain great relationships with neighboring practices, promoting a collaborative work environment and a culture of welcoming new ideas to enhance patient services.
Person Specification
  • GMC registration with a valid license to practice.
  • Vocational Training in General Practice (VTS) or equivalent qualification.
  • Full driving license.
  • Strong clinical skills and ability to manage various health conditions.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team.
