Job DescriptionSupport Worker Role

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Support Worker to join our team at The Action Group. As a Support Worker, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care and support to individuals with additional support needs.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain meaningful relationships with individuals we support, promoting their physical and emotional well-being.
  • Assist individuals with daily living activities, such as personal care, household tasks, and meal preparation.
  • Support individuals to participate in community activities, hobbies, and interests.
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues and other stakeholders to ensure effective support plans and case reviews.
  • Maintain accurate records and documentation, adhering to The Action Group's policies and procedures.
  • Participate in ongoing training and professional development to enhance skills and knowledge.

Requirements:

  • Registration with the Scottish Social Services Council (SSSC) and PVG clearance.
  • Ability to work flexibly, including evenings, weekends, and sleepovers.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work as part of a team and maintain confidentiality.
  • Basic IT skills and ability to use electronic records systems.
