Commissioning Engineer Position

We are seeking a skilled Commissioning Engineer to join our project delivery team at Bennett and Game Recruitment LTD. Our client, a successful HVAC company with a global presence, requires a versatile professional to carry out Air Handling Unit (AHU) commissioning tasks according to established scripts.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Carry out AHU commissioning tasks in accordance with established scripts.
  • Work with the Project Manager to ensure site teams comply with health and safety measures.
  • Collaborate with commissioning engineers and senior engineers to deliver the Commissioning Programme within agreed timeframes and budgets.
  • Highlight risks related to resources, finances, and programme.
Requirements:
  • Qualify for electrical competence.
  • Desirable: previous experience in HVAC and knowledge of MODBUS systems.
  • Demonstrable experience of HVAC and MODBUS systems.
  • Hold or have previously held competence cards/completed training on using harnesses (IPAF), building and using podiums steps/work platforms, MEWPs, step ladders, etc.
  • Hold a current and valid CSCS card.
  • Possess good problem-solving skills, especially with mechanical, electrical, and control systems.
  • Full driving license.
  • Desirable: experience and knowledge of Data Centres and ASHREA Commissioning L1-L5 stages.
  • Holds a current SSSTS or SMSTS card, but not essential.
Remuneration:

Upwards of £50k depending on experience, with overtime available. Benefits include training on our specific AHU systems and controls, career development, Medicash, enhanced paternity and maternity pay, employee cash rewards, and long service and yearly awards.
