Overview of the Role:
The primary aim of this position is to inspire both external suppliers and Aviva personnel to implement sustainable enhancements in property repair claims performance. This will involve leveraging expertise to assess performance and supervise initiatives that elevate service quality, accurate pricing, safety, and standards across all property claims (including buildings and contents suppliers). The successful candidate will utilize their technical expertise and relationship management skills to pinpoint opportunities and motivate others towards positive change.
As a member of our UKGI Claims Supply Chain Team, the chosen candidate will be tasked with identifying systemic challenges as well as the developmental needs of individuals (often specialists in their fields) and applying suitable coaching, training, best practice sharing, and action planning to encourage them to integrate sustainable improvements in all future claims they oversee.
This approach will ensure a continuous alignment of performance with Aviva's standards and expectations. The role will also provide assurance and context to senior management, facilitating a more comprehensive transformation.
Desired Skills and Experience:
Essential technical knowledge of property/buildings, with a robust understanding of property claims. A personable approach with outstanding interpersonal and influencing capabilities. Strong verbal and written communication skills along with effective stakeholder management. A genuine desire to enhance customer experiences, with the ability to identify issues and drive change. Relevant qualifications such as Cert CII /Dip CII, BDMA, HND/HNC in Building Studies, or accreditation to CII, RICS, CIOB, CILA are advantageous.Benefits of this Role:
