Principal Electrical Engineer

Petroplan is seeking a highly experienced Principal Electrical Engineer to lead global engineering projects and studies, supervising teams and project schedules. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for ensuring technical standards, project schedules, and safety requirements are met, while managing design teams and multidisciplinary interfaces.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead electrical engineering projects, including design, troubleshooting, and improvement
  • Supervise teams and project schedules to ensure timely completion
  • Manage design teams and multidisciplinary interfaces
  • Perform engineering tasks for electrical systems, including load flow, short circuit, and motor starting analysis
  • Prepare man-hour estimates, plan project activities, and evaluate the impact of new legislation on plant design and performance
Requirements:
  • Extensive experience in electrical engineering and team leadership within Oil & Gas, especially in Upstream Engineering
  • Experience with Concept, Basic/FEED, and Detail Engineering for onshore and offshore projects
  • Proficient in using ETAP for electrical analysis
  • Excellent English proficiency for technical presentations
  • Bachelor's degree within the Electrical Engineering field or a BA in Science with a focus in Electrical Engineering
