As part of Nursing Times, the foremost nursing publication in the UK, you will provide significant insights and content tailored for professionals in nursing and midwifery.
Role Summary: In the capacity of Clinical Writer, you will be instrumental in crafting specialized content directed at a nursing audience. Collaborating closely with the senior clinical editor, your contributions will enhance award-winning initiatives, interpret clinical guidelines, and develop features on various health conditions. Furthermore, you will engage with commercial partners to create sponsored content and assist the editorial team in diverse content creation projects.
Key Responsibilities:
- Compose compelling clinical articles aimed at nursing professionals
- Develop content for commercial collaborators while adhering to client specifications
- Participate in industry events to source content ideas and establish professional connections
- Work alongside internal teams to facilitate content development
Qualifications:
- A minimum of two years' experience in professional journalism
- Exceptional written English with the ability to distill complex information
- Experience in health or clinical writing is essential
- Strong networking capabilities
- A background in nursing is advantageous
- A journalism qualification is preferred
