We invite you to consider a position as a Senior Psychiatric Consultant within the Community Mental Health team for West Wiltshire and Devizes (WWKD). This pivotal role encompasses direct engagement with service users, comprehensive evaluations, diagnoses, and management of both mental and physical health requirements, alongside offering medical guidance and leadership.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide therapeutic interventions to service users
  • Offer medical expertise and leadership to the multidisciplinary team
  • Conduct assessments and manage treatment plans for outpatients
  • Facilitate CPA meetings for outpatient care
  • Collaborate with various services and organizations
  • Act as the Responsible Clinician

Essential Skills and Qualifications:

  • MB BS or equivalent medical credentials
  • Full registration with the GMC
  • Proven leadership capabilities and teamwork skills
  • Exceptional communication abilities
  • Competence in assessing and managing psychiatric conditions
  • Understanding of healthcare management principles
