Job Title: Social Personal Assistant KRNCL

Job Type: Full-time, Part-time

Location: Kingston Park, Newcastle Upon Tyne

About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Social Personal Assistant to join our team at Disability North. As a Social Personal Assistant, you will be working closely with Kiera, a 10-year-old girl with Autism, ADHD, and Epilepsy, to provide her with the support and care she needs to thrive.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide one-to-one support to Kiera, enabling her to participate in activities and achieve her goals
  • Assist Kiera with her daily routine, including personal care and hygiene
  • Support Kiera in developing her social and communication skills
  • Accompany Kiera on outings, including swimming and visits to sensory provision centers
  • Work collaboratively with Kiera's family and other professionals to ensure her needs are met

Requirements:

  • Experience working with children with Autism and other disabilities
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Full clean UK driving license
  • Female personal assistant preferred
