About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Engineering Surveyor to join our infrastructure team, working on the A47 road improvement scheme. The successful candidate will be responsible for supporting the Chief Engineering Surveyor and Engineering Survey Manager in coordinating technical work streams, developing the engineering survey team, and ensuring the project has the necessary survey control network.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support the Chief Engineering Surveyor and Engineering Survey Manager in coordinating technical work streams.
  • Develop the engineering survey team to meet project needs.
  • Ensure the project has the appropriate survey control network to fulfill construction requirements.
  • Set out works in accordance with contract requirements before work commences.
Requirements
  • Degree in Land Surveying or Engineering Surveying, or ONC/B Tec in Land Surveying or Engineering Surveying and previous experience as a Senior Engineering Surveyor.
  • Extensive awareness of survey instruments, software, and working methods.
  • Full professional membership of CICES or equivalent body.
  • People management skills.
  • Commercial acumen.
