Position Overview
We are seeking a skilled individual to help establish and grow a Cost Management team within our Birmingham Project & Development Services division. This role offers the chance to collaborate with a dynamic group of Project Managers and Building Surveyors, supported by our experienced Cost Management teams in other locations.

The ideal candidate will possess substantial post-qualification experience, having worked with a variety of clients across multiple sectors. You should be adept at managing key client projects and providing strategic guidance to multidisciplinary teams while also supporting client management and direction.

As part of our team, you will have the opportunity to make a significant impact on our established projects in Birmingham. You will be encouraged to bring your unique perspective and expertise to the role, contributing to innovative solutions for our major clients and participating in transformative real estate initiatives. Building strong professional relationships internally and externally will be key to your success.

Key Responsibilities
• Provide a Quantity Surveying presence within the JLL Office, with the potential to develop your own team.
• Conduct feasibility cost estimates and create detailed cost plans.
• Communicate risks associated with design proposals effectively.
• Manage post-contract duties, including payment processing, cost reporting, and contract administration.
• Collaborate closely with clients, design teams, and contractors to optimize project solutions.
• Identify opportunities for value management and supply chain enhancements.
• Lead business development efforts, both internally and externally.
• Maintain strong client relationships and deliver high-quality services from inception to completion.

Candidate Profile
The successful candidate will have a strong technical background in Quantity Surveying or Cost Management. While MRICS accreditation is preferred, we welcome applications from individuals with relevant experience who can demonstrate their capabilities.
