Role Overview:

Teaching Personnel is in search of a compassionate and committed Youth Support Specialist to assist in a school setting in New Earswick. This role involves providing essential support to students facing behavioral difficulties, aiding them in acquiring the necessary skills for academic and social success.

Key Duties:

  • Engage with students individually and in small groups to address behavioral concerns and encourage positive conduct.
  • Design and implement strategies to assist students in effectively managing their emotions and behaviors.
  • Collaborate with educators, Special Educational Needs Coordinators (SENCOs), and other personnel to foster a nurturing educational environment.
  • Track student progress and provide regular updates to teachers and guardians.
