Position: Educational Support Assistant

We are seeking dedicated individuals to take on the role of Educational Support Assistants. This position involves working in a supportive educational environment, providing assistance to students with diverse learning needs, particularly those with Autism Spectrum Disorder.

Working Hours:
This role offers flexible working days, ranging from 2 to 5 days a week, with hours from 8:30 AM to 3:30 PM. No prior training is necessary, as on-the-job learning will be provided. However, qualities such as initiative and resilience are essential for success in this role.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide one-on-one support to students during classroom activities.
  • Assist students in accessing the curriculum and adapting lesson plans to meet their individual needs.
  • Foster strong relationships with both students and teaching staff to facilitate optimal learning outcomes.
  • Support students in managing their emotions and maintaining focus during lessons.

Compensation:
The pay rate for this position is £12.81 per hour, with a total daily rate of £83.29, including holiday pay. The workday consists of 7 hours, with an unpaid 30-minute lunch break. There is potential for increased earnings based on experience.

Essential Qualifications:
  • Experience working with individuals with Special Educational Needs (SEN), Autism, or Complex Needs is preferred.
  • Eligibility to work in the UK (valid visa required).
  • At least one recent reference related to child-based work and relevant DBS/Police checks.
