Accounts Assistant Opportunity

Sheridan Maine South is seeking a skilled Accounts Assistant to join our dynamic and growing team in central Bournemouth. This exciting role offers a unique chance to contribute to the success of our company and advance your career in finance.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Reconcile complex transactions to meet payment deadlines with precision and accuracy
  • Identify and investigate outstanding entries in the general ledger to ensure financial integrity
  • Liaise with colleagues and suppliers to resolve outstanding items and maintain positive relationships
  • Raise invoices as needed to clear accounts and optimize cash flow
  • Support the wider finance team with processing and resolving queries to ensure seamless operations
Requirements:
  • Part AAT qualified or equivalent, with a strong background in reconciliations
  • Proven experience in a reconciliations role, with a high degree of accuracy and attention to detail
  • Intermediate Excel skills for effective data management and analysis
  • Ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines, with excellent communication and organizational skills
