About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Building Surveyor to join our team at Gleeds Corporate Services Ltd. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for overseeing significant construction projects across various sectors, including Defence, Mission Critical, Infrastructure, Industrial, Leisure, Retail, Education, Heritage, Residential, and Health.

You will have the autonomy to conduct cost analysis and risk assessments, collaborate with project teams to ensure financial goals are met, and deliver high-quality services that meet our customers' requirements. Your expertise will be essential in identifying new business development opportunities and driving growth across our Business Units' activities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct cost analysis and risk assessments to ensure project financial goals are met.
  • Collaborate with project teams to deliver high-quality services and meet customers' requirements.
  • Identify new business development opportunities and drive growth across Business Units' activities.
  • Support Business Unit Directors in delivering business objectives.
  • Settle final accounts and ensure accurate financial reporting.
Requirements
  • Strong experience of cost estimating and cost planning.
  • Cohesive knowledge of construction methods.
  • Practical knowledge of construction procurement strategies, including tendering and contract strategies.
  • Strong IT skills, with a good level of proficiency in MS Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
  • Cost X experience desirable (training will be provided).
